1. Download and unpack helpdesk.zip. You should get the following files:
*.cgi - HelpDesk Online scripts
*.pm - HelpDesk Online library modules
styles.css - style definition
*.gif - buttons and tabs images
2. (all UNIX servers and Apache for NT) Edit the very first line of cgi files if necessary. The line
must contain path to perl interpreter.
3. Upload all *.cgi and *.pm files to your HelpDesk Online executables directory in ASCII mode
and chmod the files to 755.
4. Upload all *.gif files to your HelpDesk Online executables directory (default location) or any directory you assigned
to store HelpDesk Online images in BINARY mode.
5. Upload styles.css files to the directory you assigned to store image files (as per step 4).
6. Run install.cgi script using your web browser. This will launch Interactive Installer. Please refer
to help messages provided by the Installer and Admin panel for further instructions.
7. (Optional) Setup HDMail (email based service request submissions handler).
